Lakemore Partners, the private credit investment firm, has appointed experienced Wall Street figure Sheila Finnerty as an independent board member.

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Finnerty is a financial markets thought leader and recognized expert in fixed income, structured credit and financial instruments. She most recently served as a founding member of both the leadership team and investment committee at Liberty Mutual Investments, where she helped transform its asset management business into an integrated investment platform that nearly doubled in size to $80 billion. She has also worked at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. She began her career at Presidential Life Insurance Company and Shearson Lehman Global Asset Management. Finnerty holds an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business and a BA in management from Manhattanville College. She is also a CFA® Institute Charter Holder.

Finnerty serves on various board and professional association, including as an independent director and audit committee member at TCW Direct Lending VIII; investment committee chair, finance committee, governance and nominating committee at Manhattanville College Board of Trustees; philanthropy committee member at May Institute; and as a founding member of Women in Alternative Debt.

Lakemore mainly invests in control collateralized debt obligation equity. Founded in 2016, Lakemore has offices in Phoenix, London and Dubai. The firm manages $1.2 billion in credit assets under management.

Rockefeller Capital Management
Rockefeller Capital Management has appointed Kristen Sario as director of the Southeast division. In this role, Sario will oversee six offices and will be focused on the continued growth in the Charlotte, Florida and Nashville markets. She will be based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Sario was previously complex manager and executive director at Morgan Stanley where she was responsible for more than 300 employees including financial advisors, client service associates, operational staff and the Complex Leadership team, and oversaw Morgan Stanley Wealth Management’s offices in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia, among others. 

Raymond James 
Raymond James has welcomed financial advisor Rob Hrnicek to its independent advisor channel. 

Hrnicek is joining the Plano, Texas team of advisors at Parkway Wealth Management Group. Previously, Hrnicek was affiliated with Wells Fargo where he managed approximately $125 million in client assets.

With more than two decades’ financial sector experience, he started his career at Merrill Lynch in 2001. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska and a master of business administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. Hrnicek has also obtained the Certified Financial Planner™ professional designation.
